Peyronie's Disease: Traction Therapy

Peyronie's Disease: Traction Therapy

Traction gently stretches the penis over time. It can help with length and curvature, alone or after plication, grafting, or injection treatment.

How to use it

  • Start with short sessions and build up gradually to the daily time I recommend.
  • Consistency over months matters more than long single sessions.
  • Take breaks during a session if you feel discomfort.

Safety

  • Check the skin each time. Stop and take a break if the head of the penis turns dark, cold, or numb.
  • Stop and call if you develop sores or blisters.

Call right away

Call the office at (516) 535-1900, or go to the nearest emergency room after hours, if you have:

  • Numbness or color change that doesn't go away after removing the device
  • Open sores or skin breakdown
